Lesson 1: Functional English
Our Functional English lessons focus on practical skills you will use in everyday situations in an English-speaking environment. How do you ask for help in a shop or order politely in a restaurant? How do you express agreement or disagreement in a meeting or discussion? How do you make your point when writing?
Lesson 2: General English
In this lesson we use a current coursebook that is structured to cover all language skills. it focuses on new engaging and relevant topics each week and improves vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Weekly tests are provided to monitor your improvement in the key areas of Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
Lesson 3: IELTS Exam Preparation or Topic
In the afternoon, classes will EITHER be focused on topic and project team work, or the IELTS exam and the skills and strategies you will need to gain a better score in the exam. Classes include regular practice tests with individual feedback and advice on how you can improve. We can also offer individual advice for students about your options after the exam.
