About this course

In September 2024, CIE is set to launch The Foundation Course in Business Studies, an accredited eight-month program by Oxford Brookes University designed to prepare international students for university entry.
This is a 32 week course, including 12 weeks of IELTS training for those with an IELTS level below 5.5 and 20 weeks of intensive Business Studies. 
With small class sizes, the program ensures personalised attention. You will study 3 hours of Business Studies in the morning and 2 hours of IELTS practice in the afternoon.
Oxford Brookes University recognises and approves the Foundation Course in Business Studies, considering it equivalent to NQF level 3.

 

This course is tailored for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Possess an existing IELTS score of 4.5 or higher (Please note that individuals with a score below 4.5 cannot be accommodated for this course).
  • Aim to achieve an IELTS score of 6 or above, a prerequisite for embarking on university studies in the UK.
  • Demonstrate an interest in business studies.

This program helps you dive into and improve your English language skills and boost your knowledge in the world of business studies for an insightful learning experience.
