Online Culture and Content Integrated Language Training
We are very pleased to invite friends of CIE to our Live Online Event where we will introduce our plans for 2021. Our team will outline the courses we have prepared for this year with a particular focus on CIE Online Culture and Content Integrated Language Training. During the last year we have developed a fascinating range of courses to include such themes as The Beauty of Oxford, Business and A Global Perspective, which we now also offer online!
You will be able to send us questions in advance and we will have a Q&A session at the end.

Online Culture and Content Integrated Language Training
We had a group of 17 eager students who joined us to learn about a variety of different subjects. These included the History of Religion in the UK, Art & Architecture and the University of Oxford, Multiculturalism, Business Motivation & Leadership and Sustainable Development Goals.
The programme consisted of pre-session tasks, live lessons on each topic, revision sessions and post-session assignments. Senshu students also met with Oxford University students for an online conversation session and delivered excellent presentations followed by interesting discussions on their final day. The students were actively participating on our educational and communication platform and were more than happy to practise their speaking in Zoom sessions.
The key messages the students took away from the course were realising that ‘no man is an island’ and the importance of providing other people with worth, value and respect.
It has been a very rewarding two weeks both for the students and the teachers. We were absolutely delighted to receive very positive feedback. The students found the experience so rewarding that we are developing a follow-up CIE Online programme that will enable them to return in the summer!
