CIE Oxford, Main Campus
CIE Oxford’s main campus is a typical city centre building right in the heart of Oxford. Situated just opposite the Oxford Union in St Michael’s Street, CIE Oxford consists of:
- 5 classrooms, varying in size from 8 to 13 students’ capacity
- A students’ common room, including a small lending library
- A kitchenette, with free tea and coffee, a microwave and a refrigerator where you may keep your lunch
- A reception area and an administrative office
CIE Junior & Teen Summer Campus
Our junior summer school is based at the City of Oxford College, in the heart of Oxford.
Classrooms are spacious and are fitted with projectors and whiteboards, enabling our teaching team to make the best use of modern technology and ensure that lessons are stimulating, varied and highly topical. At break times students have access to the café, Wi-Fi, and lovely seating areas on the grass beside the mill stream.
Other Facilities
The Oxford Union
During the academic year as needed, we often hire the Gladstone and Morris rooms at the Oxford Union, conveniently located just opposite CIE Oxford in St Michael’s Street.
These rooms can be used for small or large groups and offer students an opportunity to experience the tradition of this Oxford institution. The Union has played host to a huge variety of internationally-renowned guest speakers over the nearly 200 years of its existence:

St Peter’s College
When we need extra classrooms we sometimes use rooms at St Peter’s College, which is a one minute walk from CIE. As well as the historic buildings, St Peter’s College also has modern classrooms with large TV Screens and a lecture theatre.
