The Foundation Course in Business Studies is a seven month programme which prepares students from abroad for university entry. Oxford Brookes University professors moderate the work of the students and recognises the Foundation course, which it regards as being equivalent to NQF level 3.
Students in the past have gone on to study at universities such as SOAS, University of Surrey, Sheffield University and Glasgow University. All universities where students have applied have accepted our Foundation Course certificate.

Topics will include the following:
You will have lessons each day preparing specifically for the IELTS examination. In order to complete the course successfully, you will need to achieve a score of at least 6.0 on the IELTS examination, which meets the English language requirements of most universities in Britain.

All course materials are provided.
You will receive a certificate at the end of your course stating your level according to the Common European Framework.
If a student is unhappy about their award, they may appeal to the Principal who, in consultation with the Oxford Brookes moderator, will consider this appeal. It will be considered within two weeks of being received, and the student will be informed of the decision by email within 24 hours of the decision being made.
